Narrative
The developer received $15.3 million in transportation development district funds to be used for roadway improvements and $28.4 million in sales tax increment financing subsidies for infrastructure costs and land acquisition ($43.7 million total). The retail development will be anchored by the Supercenter, a Sam’s Club and a home improvement store (as yet unnamed). We thus attributed two-thirds of the total ($29.1 million) to Wal-Mart.
